One of the great conversations that all freshers have: Old TV shows. Heres the definitive list of TV shows that we think should come back to our screens:

6. Catchphrase

Aired 12 January 1986 to 2002, this show felt very much like an 80’s show should, with the neon lights, the crap animation and bad joked phrases, you couldn’t help but enjoy it. Roy Walker always using the lines "It's good, but it's not right" and "Say what you see", as well as Mr. Chips and his adventures… a classic!

5. Thundercats

Aired from 1987 to 1990. A TV show that most of us remember fondly, from the great theme tune to the. The character’s were all based on animals (Panthro, Lion-o, Tygra, and Cheetara) made the show visually stunning and always interesting to watch. Almost every episode started with something Snarf had done wrong, and later after they’d saved the world, they’d always joke about it! Thundercats has now become a cult phenomen with Tshirts being warn around most campus’.

4. Red Dwarf

Aired from 1988 to 1999. From its highly amusing plots (including one where time goes backwards), to its impressive and hilarious cast. Whether you enjoyed Rimmers salute or Cat’s sense of style, the shows orginal look at the science fiction genre has spawned millions of fans. The show has won an emmy and a film is currently being planned.
